At The Big Blue Surf Center we have the top boards of our partners Fanatic boards available to you. Every year we order brand new windsurf boards to ensure you have the best equipment to use. We have all our boards in various volume sizes so that you can pick out the one that suits your ability and riding style best. Whether freestyle, slalom, speed or freeriding, we have the right setup for you!

The Freewave is a lightweight, single fin, freestyle wave board suited to advanced riders. The Freewave cuts through the water beautifully and enables tight, fast carving. We have 85L and 95L Team editions.

4 world titles prove the pedigree of the Fanatic Freestyle board the Skate. The skate has the perfect freestyle shape giving it easy handling, super grip and comfort in both air and sliding manoeuvres. The Skate is the board of world freestyle champion Gollito Estredo. We have the Skate available in 99L Team edition model.

The Hawk is Fanatics most popular board and is an incredible all round blend of pace and manoeuvrability. The Hawk is fantastic for more advanced riders and is a combination of freestyle and slalom shapes. We have the Hawk in 100L, 110L, 120L and 135L models.

The Shark is designed for guaranteed control and comfort for intermediates. The shark allows you to advance quickly and make cleaner, faster turns. We have the Shark in 120L, 135L, 150L and 165L.

We also have Ripper (kids), and Viper (adult and teenager) boards for learners with soft rails for first jibes and luxurious EVA soft decks preventing knocks and bruises for an unforgettable and fun-filled experience. Effortless control and ease of use make these great boards to learn on.

North Sails

North sails are dedicated to innovation and have won several awards for their sail designs. At Big Blue Surf Center we are proud to use North sails and we know you will enjoy them too. We have sails for beginners right the way through to aggressive freestyle sails in a large selection of sizes.

The Duke is a versalite freestyle sail implementing countless innovation and is the sail of choice for PWA freestyle champion Gollito Estredo. The duke is a powerful all round freestyle sail suited to more advanced riders.

The Natural is a great all round performance sail and is smooth and manageable. The Natural gives great acceleration and stability at speed and is perfect for freeriding fun and progressing your skills.

The X-type is a maximum performance sail great for speed riders. However it is still light as it has no cambers so is also great for lighter wind days.

We use Silver North Sail booms on our rigs and both standard and RDM (reduced diameter) North Sail masts for great performance.
